Management Team

Sangarsh Nigam

President & CEO

Sangarsh brings over 20 years of senior-level experience in risk and information management, data analytics, modeling, financial technology, commercial lending and product development at leading global banks.

Before founding bluCognition, Sangarsh was SVP & Chief Credit Officer of Global Commercial Payments at American Express Company. In this capacity, Sangarsh was responsible for all charge cards, credit cards, commercial loans, working capital and merchant financing solutions. In addition, Sangarsh was a voting member of the Institutional Risk Management Committee of American Express where he contributed to managing all key risks within American Express including market, operational, fraud, liquidity and reputational risks. Sangarsh also has extensive experience working with external regulators and he was the primary liaison representing the commercial part of the company with the Federal Reserve, FDIC and OCC.

Sangarsh has always believed that sound data hygiene and advancing analytical tools such as machine learning and AI within organizations are key to their efficient functioning which in turn delights consumers and businesses served by those organizations. He is passionate about helping organizations fully leverage their data, produce data-driven insights, leverage the power of machine learning and integrating AI into their platforms to create superior solutions. It is with this mission Sangarsh founded bluCognition.

Mukesh Chamedia

Managing Director & Co-Founder

Mukesh is a seasoned payments and risk management professional with over 20 years’ experience in analytics and risk strategy across multiple geographies. He has extensive knowledge of consumer and commercial cards, with experience in both credit & fraud risk. After working in the US & UK for 16 years, Mukesh returned back to his roots in India to join bluCognition.

Prior to bluCognition, Mukesh was head of risk for the consumer credit and charge card portfolios at American Express for multiple markets in Continental Europe. Mukesh worked with American Express for 18 years in various roles in risk management and analytics.

He has an MBA from University of Mumbai and is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst.

Bharat Jhawar

Vice President

Bharat has over 15 years of experience in the Banking and Financial services industry. He began his career with Northern Trust in the Private Equity operations and audit function. Subsequently, he moved to RAGE Frameworks (currently Genpact) and UBS where he performed various roles that included people management, complex business operations, risk management, financial & bank statement analysis, compliance & audit, reputational risk management and process improvements.

Rohit Bansal

CTO

Rohit Bansal is a seasoned technology professional with 17 years of experience in various domains, including finance, pharma, and education. Throughout his career, he has worked with a variety of web technologies, providing valuable insights and expertise.

He has also worked on data search capabilities and data science projects, utilizing his knowledge and skills to solve complex problems in these areas. He started his career at HP Labs and has since worked with several companies, where he made a significant contribution to their tech team.

He has a B.Tech degree from IIIT Allahabad and an MS degree from Bits Pilani, reflecting his excellent educational background and expertise in technology.

Madhavee Singh

Head Of Human Resources

Madhavee has over 20 years’ experience in the field of human resources and people management. Prior to bluCognition, she worked with ELCOME, a maritime defence technology solutions provider, joining them as a trainee and growing into the position of Human Resource- Head. Madhavee is passionate about making individuals feel valued and appreciated and works towards making a real impact in the growth journey of every employee of bluCognition. She has notable experience in Staffing, Strategic Human Resource planning, employee contract negotiations, employee benefits, employee engagement and compliance.

An alumni of St. Xavier's college, Kolkata and Asia’s first MBA Institute, IISWBM, Madhavee has the mindset of a lifelong learner.

Tasha Aubey

Advisor

Tasha is a customer-centric, results-driven strategy and transformation leader with more than 20 years of senior-level experience leading sales, account development, customer engagement, credit operations and process re-engineering initiatives in financial services.

For the last 18 months, Tasha has been an advisor through her own consulting company TRK Consulting where she works with small privately held and VC funded companies across a variety of industries to drive transformational change in customer engagement, operational improvements, business development, and talent. Her prior 20+ year career at American Express had her leading customer facing colleagues (sales, servicing and credit operations) to drive revenue by providing the best solutions for commercial customers of all sizes to support their business success.
